1. After I switch to Facebook Credits, will I still have direct access to offers?
No! While your users can expose an option to complete offers within the payment dialog, you will still need a direct link to offers from within your game (the “Facebook Offers Shortcut”).

2. Do you have data on what touchpoints work best for offers?
In-game offer touchpoints generate about 99% of offer revenue. The Facebook Payment Dialog generates ~1% of offer revenue. See our instructions for adding in-game touchpoints: Facebook Offer Shortcut and DealSpot.

3. Can I issue my own native currency after a user completes an offer?
Until July 1st, you can work with TrialPay to issue either your own native currency or Facebook Credits. After July 1st, developers can only issue Facebook Credits for completing an advertiser offer.
4. What rewards can I offer for video ads and branded engagements after July 1st?
For video ads and branded engagements, developers can issue Facebook Credits or virtual items. TrialPay can work with you to issue both.
Specifically developers can not issue native currency.
5. Can users spend Credits issued in my app elsewhere?
Yes. Credits issued in your app are deposited into the user’s account and can be spent on any app within the Facebook ecosystem. It’s important that you consider how users redeem earned credits in your game (see #6).
Likewise, Credits earned elsewhere can also be spent within your game.
6. What is the best way to ensure that Credits issued through offers touchpoints are redeemed within my game?
Developers can take advantage of callback functions that signal when when the “Earn Credits” dialog has closed. This allows you present the user with some options to immediately redeem the earned credits in your game.
Even without these callback functions, many developers load their own payment frame prior to loading the Facebook Offers Shortcut or DealSpot overlay. This way, when a user closes the offers overlay, he/she is immediately presented with an option to convert Facebook Credits into currency.

7. When am I paid?
Developers are paid when Facebook Credits are redeemed within their games.
8. How do I access video inventory and brand engagements?
DealSpot allows users to access video ads and branded engagement from an in-game icon. This icon displays ONLY when inventory is available.
9. What is DealSpot?
DealSpot is an in-game icon that adds a regular rotation of targeted deals to your app. Promotions range from video ads to holiday promotions to daily deals from popular providers like Groupon. The DealSpot icon loaded via a SWF file, and displays only when a deal is available. According to InsideFacebook, DealSpot doubles daily offer revenue for most developers.

10. Do I need to sign an agreement with TrialPay?
No, you do not need to sign a separate agreement with TrialPay to earn Facebook credits in your game.
Note: for virtual item sales (where no virtual currency is issued), you will need to setup a TrialPay merchant account.
11. We are not a game publisher, but still use virtual currency. Can we still work with TrialPay?
Yes, you can work with TrialPay directly. Learn more about our services.
12. What are examples of effective implementations of the Offers Shortcut?
The Facebook Offers Shortcut provides your users a direct way to earn Facebook Credits in exchange for completing advertising offers. On your initial integration (typically an “Earn Credits” button or tab), you should highlight the “Earn” option in a different color to notify users of a new payment method. Our most successful partners display the offers shortcut directly next to the “Buy” option within the game’s main navigation, as seen in the examples below.
As a reminder, you can continue to issue your own native currency through TrialPay until the July 1st deadline. After July 1st, all currency issued through advertising offers (including video) must be Facebook Credits.
In this example, the shortcut is in the game’s main navigation:
