What’s happening: Foxconn growing workforce for Firefox OS

Foxconn recently announced plans to hire 3,000 workers (up from the originally planned 1,000) to build new devices based on Mozilla’s Firefox OS.  The new operating system has been generating a lot of excitement among developers, the preview units selling out in hours.

Yesterday, Mozilla released a video discussing the advantages of Firefox OS.  Not only do they feel the HTML5 based system offers unique advantages to API access, but that it could, in fact, change the economics of game developing.  Check out why:
