This week, the U.S. IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence reported that global mobile advertising grew an astounding 82.8 percent from 2011 to 2012, representing an increase of $3.6 billion. While the Asia-Pacific Region still dominates in the share of mobile advertising, North America comes in close second, growing by a remarkable 111 percent. Europe’s growth rate came in at 91 percent. Overall, the research indicated just how truly global mobile advertising is, recording at least 60 percent growth in every region.
